 Dr. Tim Nugent is a Naperville Dentist who has practiced Dentistry in the Chicago-land area since 1979. A native Chicagoan, Dr. Nugent attended Northwestern University for his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree (DDS) after receiving his undergraduate degree from Northern Illinois University.
He has completed extensive post graduate studies in all fields of general dentistry, including cosmetic dentistry, implants and veneers. Additionally, Dr. Nugent is certified in Perio Protect treatment of gum problems. He has accumulated over 900 hours of Academy of General Dentistry approved course work.
Dr. Nugent is a member of the American Dental Association, Chicago Dental Society, Illinois Dental Society and American Association of Dental Consultants. He is also a dentist on staff at Central DuPage Hospital.
Dr. Nugent's community contribution has been donating and sponsoring an emergency tooth saving system for the local Naperville Schools and Fire Department. This will make it possible to save many knocked out teeth that would be lost. Additionally, Dr. Nugent has published various print articles covering diverse subjects including “Gum Treatment without Surgery”, “Caps for Front Teeth” and “Protecting Children’s Teeth in Sports”.
For the last ten years he has been working with a major insurance company as a dental consultant visiting dental offices as part of their Quality Management Program. Dr. Nugent is one of twelve dental consultants nationwide involved in this program to improve quality care in dental offices. He has coached over 150 dental offices in 10 states.
